The 1931 car was originally bodied by The Mayfair Carriage Company and sold by agents Jack Olding Ltd initially to Sir Stanley Cochraine and then to R O H Armstrong-Jones. The original brown log book still exists.
The car passed through a number of hands and was put in dry storage around 1985. Some 18 years later it went to auction and was subsequently subject to a complete rebuild to “Blower” specification.
In this form it has been extensively rallied in the UK and mainland Europe and has competed in the Mille Miglia.
